Job Description

As a Senior Product Analyst at PayNearMe, you’ll shape, not just support, product decisions. You’ll define success metrics, analyze complex user behaviors, and uncover growth levers that directly influence our roadmap.

Beyond hands-on analytics, you’ll raise the data fluency bar across product teams. From building scalable KPI frameworks to leading experimentation and instrumentation practices, you’ll bring clarity to ambiguity and scale impact across product development.

What You’ll Do

Metrics & Measurement

  • Own and evolve product KPI frameworks, including success metrics, input levers, and performance monitoring.
  • Scale event tracking and instrumentation practices with product and engineering.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that drive decisions across Product, Design, Ops, and GTM teams.
  • Design and implement experimentation programs (test design, success criteria, post-test analysis).

Insights & Storytelling

  • Identify opportunity areas for product analytics and prioritize based on business impact.
  • Communicate insights through compelling data stories tailored for technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.

Innovation & Leadership

  • Partner with product and engineering on emerging technologies to augment analytics workflows, including GenAI, agentic systems, and autonomous agents.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives such as voice-of-customer, user segmentation, retention diagnostics, and funnel optimization.
  • Serve as a thought partner to product leaders, PMs, and development teams on analytics strategies.

Qualifications

Core Analytics Expertise

  • 6-9 years in product analytics, data science, or business intelligence (B2B SaaS or fintech preferred).
  • Mastery of SQL and fluency with modern BI and data tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, dbt, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of product metrics such as funnels, retention, cohorts, segmentation, and feature engagement.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and influence product strategy through insights.
  • Familiarity with event tracking schemas and tools (Amplitude, Segment, Google Analytics).
  • Exposure to or collaboration with analytics engineering teams; understanding of dbt or event schema design is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AI and ML techniques including predictive modeling, NLP, and agentic systems.
  • Proven track record shaping experimentation programs and guiding test design and measurement.

Communication & Leadership

  • Confident storyteller who translates analysis into clear, actionable decisions.
  • Skilled at influencing cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders at every level.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in payments, lending, or regulated industries.
  • Comfort with Python or R for advanced statistical analysis.

Salary Range: $165,000 - $185,000

The Company collects identifiers and professional or employment-related information, which may include some or all the following: real name, nickname or alias, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, membership in professional organizations, professional certifications, language skills, and current and past employment history. The Company collects this Personal Information to evaluate previous job performance and consider applicants for positions, to develop a talent pool and plan for succession, to conduct applicant surveys, to maintain an internal applicant directory and for purposes of identification, to promote the Company as a place to work, and for workforce reporting and data analytics/trend analysis.
