How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice: Paula’s Choice is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Business Analyst to support strategic supply chain initiatives. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts, can gather, synthesize, analyze, and present the data necessary to enable decision-making and is passionate about data and analytics. This position will examine complex issues and will provide insights to the business with analytics and research proposing changes to process, systems, and KPI’s.  

 

As a Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst, a typical day might include a mix of the following:  

  • Owning the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to support key business decisions and to communicate opportunities & risks to senior management   
  • Managing and executes entire projects from start to finish including data gathering, synthesis, modeling, problem solving, as well as communication for insights and recommendation  
  • Identifying data gaps, creates business requirements, and works with the Technology Services team to drive improved visibility  
  • Supporting the weekly and monthly Sales and Operations planning (S&OP) process (IBP) by creating, maintaining, and supporting tools and working across functional areas and with stakeholders to address demand and supply imbalances. Defines, coordinates, and executes initiatives in support of the Integrated Business Planning process  
  • Provides business insights based upon data to further improve our operations and processes  
  • Interfacing with business customers to gather requirements and build Power BI and Excel reports   
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager

Location: Downtown Seattle, Washington (Temporarily remote)  

Hours: Typical business hours  

Physical requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time and handle long periods of screen time  

Travel requirements: None  

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the table:  

  • 4+ years of related experience in business analysis or operations   
  • Basic level skills in SQL (for example: create queries using SELECT statements including grouping data and performing math, joining multiple tables
  • Intermediate to expert level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: creating charts, SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX, MATCH, LOOKUP, tables, VBA & Macros, data connections)  
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid working knowledge of data modeling and simulations

    

What can help you really stand out:  

  • 6+ preferred years of related experience in business analysis, supply chain or operations 
  • Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL and Power BI/ Tableau   
  • Understanding of big data structure types, star schemas and dimension tables  
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Math, Supply Chain or Business is strongly preferred
