Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes, workflows, and operational challenges, specifically within career coaching and immersive experience programs.
    • Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement through data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and regular process reviews.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to allocate appropriate resources, budget, and support for process improvement initiatives.
  • Development: Develop and implement comprehensive process improvement strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives from conception to execution, including designing new workflows, creating processes and documentation, and implementing changes and automation.
    • Assist with fostering a culture of continuous improvement by promoting awareness, knowledge sharing, and employee engagement in process enhancement efforts.
  • Implementation: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members about new processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of process enhancements.
    • Monitor and track the progress of process improvement projects, ensuring timely execution and delivering measurable outcomes.
    • Collaborate with Research & Evaluation Team regarding data insights to inform process improvement planning and assessment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (1-2years) in process improvement, business analysis, or operational excellence roles.
  • Strong familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead and oversee cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex ideas concisely.
  • Passion for empowering and uplifting underserved youth, aligning with the organization's mission.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, data visualization, and relevant software tools.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector or working with youth development programs is a plus.

Estimated time commitment: 5-6 hours/ week depending on needs, including

Monthly meetings

Weekly conference calls

Busiest period: work is consistent throughout the school year

Term limit: 3 Months (Can be extendable or volunteer for a specific project with less time commitment on mutual agreement)
