Job Description

Passion for Life, Inc. is seeking an  individual to serve as a Programs Manager for the organization. In this role, the primary responsibility is to oversee Passion for Life programs such as all workshops and summer camps by leading and coordinating efforts with the career coaches and training coordinators along with and monitoring operational program activities.

This position assists with the planning and implementation of the overall program goals.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing Passion for Life programs, including workshops and summer camps.
  • Leading and coordinating efforts with career coaches and training coordinators to ensure smooth execution of programs.
  • Developing and implementing program goals, objectives, and strategies to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Managing program schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure that programs are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and program participants.
  • Providing regular program updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that program data is collected and analyzed to inform program improvements and decision-making.
  • Developing and implementing program evaluation strategies to assess program effectiveness and impact.
  • Providing support and guidance to program participants as needed.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure that programs are aligned with broader organizational goals and objectives.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and interpersonal; a strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, be flexible, and solve problems creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  •  A results-oriented spirit, and a willingness to grow and build toward the success of programs
  • Ability to maintain a high level of commitment, energy, enthusiasm
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Be comfortable facilitating meetings and presenting in company meetings
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Google Workplace and Asana or related software. 

Education Requirement

  • Must be currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Nonprofit Management, or Human Services related fields of study.
  • Must be classified as a Junior or Senior or Graduate student.

Additional Information

Time Commitment: Estimated time commitment: 8-10 hours / week depending needs, including monthly meetings and weekly conference calls.

Candidates local to Atlanta preferred.

Term limit: 3-4 months for Interns, For Volunteer, 6 months
