Job Description

Passion for Life, Inc. is seeking an individual to serve as Program Coordinator for our Passion Seekers workshop program. Our workshops are designed to provide a holistic coaching style curriculum to a large groups of students. We provide this service to organizations to close a needed gap of career development for middle and high school students. As the Program Coordinator, you will work in collaboration with the Executive Director and Program Manager to oversee and establish operational processes for the program. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain program policies and procedures 
  • Research and identify community partners to support strategic program objectives
  • Develop and ensure set procedures are in place to accurately track volunteer surveys, and student evaluations after workshop. Ensure data collected is documented accurately.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly statistics reports (preparing and then creating action plans to resolve issues)
  • Support strategic initiatives (Curriculum/workshop theme development, onsite needs, outreach initiative, etc.)
  • Change/manage the management plan, risk log, etc.) and conduct planning, coordinating and communication within program leadership.
  • Update leadership on maintenance, progress reporting and distribution of project plans utilizing project-based planning tools

Qualifications

Education Requirement

  • Students studying Nonprofit Management, Interdisciplinary Studies, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or Human Services related fields of study

Required Skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Commitment to collaborative decision-making and cooperative working relationships with P4L staff and community partner

Time Commitment: 9-10 hours a week
