Our client is the market leader in ion exchange and membrane technology, has exciting and challenging opportunities for Maintenance Technicians located in Edina, MN.

Responsibilities:
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance activities on the sites' manufacturing and process equipment. Daily tasks include performing maintenance in the areas of fluid power, pneumatics, PLC's, mechanical and electrical systems and working with scheduling and planning software. Technicians coordinate troubleshooting efforts and strive to implement improvements with operations and engineers as needed to assure the day to day site operation.

* able to operate a mechanical lift
* punctual and demonstrate reliable attendance
* able to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required
* able to work 3rd shift (1030pm-830am) Monday-Friday on a long term basis
* participate as an on call resource for an average of 1.5 times per month to support 24/7 operations
* physically able to use standard safety equipment which is rated for 300 pounds or less.
* have a valid U.S driver's license.
* A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent
* basis (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or Qualifying Asylee/Refugee).
Preferred Qualifications:
- PLC experience
- Electrical experience
Education:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
In addition, we require one the following:
- An Associates or Higher degree in a related field
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- 4+ years training in the military (e.g. electronics, maintenance, computers)
- A degree in Process Technology or Process Automation is an asset.
- A certification in Process Technology is an asset.
