Demo Events take place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and will be ongoing throughout the year.  Actual days worked will vary from week to week.  Demo events last for 3 hours and are scheduled between the hours of 10 am - 7:00 pm.  The number of events worked each week can be flexible based on your schedule. This is a part-time contract position.

Your mission is to get shoppers to sample and buy products at the demonstration table by being outgoing and directly engaging shoppers.  As a gourmet tea demonstrator, you should have the ability and desire to create an Exciting, Warm, Fun and Friendly shopping environment.

Drivers License & Car (mandatory with the exception of NYC)

Two years demo experience in a grocery or natural foods setting or 1 year retail experience selling teas

Food Handlers Permit Preferred.

Duties & Pay 

•  Set-up, breakdown
  
•  Motivate purchases by explaining product features, answering questions, distributing literature, and  providing samples.
  
•  Maintain demonstration records (traffic, interest, sales)
•  Update job knowledge by staying current on the industry 
•  $20 per hr.
