Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Parker Wellbore’s Contracts and Commercial Management (CCM) Department is an integral part of the broader General Council Group, working closely with key functional areas such as Legal, Business Development, Operations and Finance to negotiate and secure new contracts through managing tender/proposal processes as well as supporting our ongoing business through day-to-day contract management.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TIME ALLOCATION:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Creating a “clause library” to organize, compare and benchmark key common contract clauses in customer contracts.
  • Participate in a corporate Information Document Retention (IDR) initiative to ensure the proper storage and disposal of CCM and Legal historical records.
  • Review & update Salesforce entries to ensure accuracy against actual customer contracts.
  • Assist in performing key Contract Assessments, with the guidance of experienced Contract Managers.
  • Create and/or improve certain Integrated Management System processes, forms, tools and templates.
  • Populate and improve the functionality and visibility of the CCM sharepoint website.
  • Assist the Compliance Department with remediation of hits in our online 319 portal against Oracle database of vendor/supplier/individual/third party representative.
  • Assist with the roll-out and continuous improvement of the GC Dashboard.
  • Assist with compiling certain work documents related to managing the newly formed TDE/Parker Wellbore Partnership.

 KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

The individual should be proficient at the following general and technical skills:

  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must display maturity, a high level of professionalism and the ability to work independently.
  • Must demonstrate a hard work ethic and an ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Must have good written and verbal technical communication skills including writing reports, emails, and updating processes.

Qualifications

An individual must have the following qualifications to perform this job successfully:

  • Senior level university student working towards a Business Administration or Law/Policy/Government related degree.
  • Experience performing administrative tasks.
