Job Description

The HSE Field Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability, and minimizing the organization's environmental impact.

Essential functions

  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, programs, and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide health and safety training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HSSE laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and best practices in HSSE.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Promote a culture of safety, security, and environmental responsibility across the organization.
  • Lead by example and foster a proactive approach to HSSE issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HSSE matters.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices.
  • Participate in industry networks, forums, and training to enhance knowledge and share best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in a similar HSSE role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant HSSE software.
