Job Description
Responsible for the leadership of the Drilling Rental Tools team, the coordination of rental tool equipment, and ensuring customer requirements are quoted and processed as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Drilling Rental Tool's team.
- Demonstrating product features to customers.
- Preparing sales proposals for potential buyers.
- Ability to identify approaches and engage with new and existing clients and offer one-parker services
- Contacting leads and setting up appointments to present company products.
- Completing regular sales reports specifying the number of sales made.
- Identify selling opportunities and client intelligence for all product lines in an account; report these opportunities to management, other product line representatives, and/or via the SalesForce platform.
- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
- Analysis of customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information.
- Manage the DRT team’s people management processes which incluinclude performance management, coaching/mentoring, employee development, goal setting, and appraisals.
- Liaise with external customer representatives about inquiries, orders, late deliveries, etc.
- Maintain and prepare Rental certification.
- Prepare and submit ERAT to customers for returned rentals daily.
- Maintain controlled copies of rental stock certification.
- Rental Inventory management.
- Liaise with internal operations to ascertain job status to ensure the customer is updated.
- Liaise with internal/external vendors on equipment due for repair and or inspection.
- Communicate any issues to the General Manager UK.
- Delegate day to day tasks to the DRT team - to ensure even distribution of workload and customer enquiinquiries responded to within set time scale.
- Process all customer orders promptly to ensure on time delivery
- Comply with the company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Additional duties may be required within job holder’s area of competence to fulfil the company’s needs.
Qualifications
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education / Qualification:
- Secondary School education or equivalent.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Product knowledge

Administrative Skills:
- Microsoft Packages i.e word, excel and outlook.

HSEQ Authority:
- To report any unsafe behaviors to their immediate Supervisor or Safety representative. Where there may be conflict report directly to facility HSEQ Manager.
- Authority on HSEQ grounds to stop operations or delivery of product on the existence of an immediate risk of harm to personnel or environmental pollution and damage to property.
