QC in Florø is responsible for Parker Wellbore delivering products in accordance with licensee procedures and specifications and Parker Wellbore's procedures. In addition, the QC is responsible for checking received thread cutting and inspecting licensed products in the department.

The QC is also responsible for control and documentation regarding calibration, measuring equipment, and gauges for all departments in Parker Wellbore.

The position has authority according to the company's signature matrix and responsibilities area as defined in the job description.

Essential Functions

• Inspection of received thread inserts.
• Inspection of license products according to the license, the customer, and the guidelines in internally established requirements.
• Control of working documents.
• Final inspection of all products and documentation before delivery to the customer.
• Ordering gauges when applicable

Additional functions

• The QC may be assigned other tasks by his immediate superior.
• The QC is responsible for the quality of his own work and for the work carried out in the department, as well as for implementing and using PW's KS system to satisfy current quality requirements.
• The QC must develop, assess, and give feedback on the quality system, in order to contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and our organization.

Additional Qualifications:

You must have the following formal competence:

- Diploma in CNC, industrial mechanic, aircraft-related or other relevant diploma

- Ability to make decisions and stand for them

- Be structured and accurate

- Can speak English and Norwegian both orally and in writing
