Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the UAE’s Engineering and Project Management team on primarily non-engineering tasks required for the successfully and timely execution of projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of project management systems, including change management, cost tracking, and schedule tracking and optimization.
- Provide support for project execution, including selection, and procurement of equipment and related services.
- Assist in all aspects of project control, including the integrated schedule, risk register, and budget projections.
- Perform various administrative duties as assigned by the Execution Lead, such as creating presentations, meeting minutes, and Meeting action logs.
- Create and maintain databases on project performance that track overall progress and the achievement of specific milestones.
- Communicate project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Oversee project procurement management, included but not limited to supplier onboarding and supplier management.
- Develop and maintain documentation, plans, and reports; prepare customer deliverables including documentation and project drawings and ensure timely submittal.
- Assist project management team with project initiation, project planning, execution of project work, monitoring and controlling, and project closeout.
- Represent Company at customer/subcontractor coordination status meetings.
- Assist project Lead by maintaining awareness of critical path activities affecting customer sensitive project deadlines.
Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred with a strong preference of business and/or technical backgrounds including engineering.
- PMP is preferred.
- Eight years of oil and gas industry experience.
- Outstanding oral, written, and presentation abilities
- Effectiveness working both independently and as a member of a team.
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a comparable position.
- Experience working with projects from conception to completion.
- The capacity to create and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and detailed action plans.
- Knowledge of risk management and quality control assurance.
- Practical experience with project management.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation abilities
- Expertise with the MS Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Extensive travel will be required.
