Job Description

Reporting directly to the Parker Wellbore Director Global Product Lines Well Construction and Intervention, the Well Construction and Intervention Reliability Manger is responsible for setting and achieving meaningful KPIs to drive performance improvement at a global level.  Implementing, supporting, managing and enforcing the policies, standards, and procedures for the Well Construction and Intervention Product Lines, including operational discipline, client standards and quality initiatives.

The Global WC&I will collaborate with various organizational departments and business teams to improve synergies and ensure flawless service delivery, proactively identify opportunities for improvement for current process and procedures, drive both corporate and product line initiatives, identify opportunities to enhance operational reliability and efficiency, and pursue means of reducing risk to PW and its clients.

In addition, the position will support the planning, directing and development of training and competency material and content to support the needs of the WC&I product lines, collaborating with the Global Parker Wellbore Training organization. The position will assess product line development needs that support the training initiatives, identifying suitable training solutions for the product line organization.  

Well Construction is defined as primarily being Tubular Running Services and the sub product lines of

  • TRS Conventional Services
  • TRS Casing while Drilling Services
  • TRS Casing Running Tools
  • TRS Tubular Management Services
  • TRS Rig Integrated Services (iTRS™)

Further to this, additional Well Construction services and applications identified to bring enterprise value, but not limited to, are:

  • Managed Pressure Drilling (Supporting Owned and O&M Operations)
  • Cementing Hardware / Mechanical Cementing Products
  • Bottom Hole Assembly Tools and Technology
  • Drilling Jars and associated hardware 

Well Intervention is defined as primarily as Casing Exit:

  • Mechanical and Hydraulic Whipstock Systems 
  • Fishing and Re-entry Services
    • Cased Hole Fishing
    • Open Hole Fishing
    • Wellbore Cleanout
    • Through Tubing Fishing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • TRS experience, both field and service quality management, with sound working knowledge of TRS Conventional, Casing Running Tools, Connection Integrity and Evaluation, and general knowledge of casing and completion running services associated with Well Construction applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand Well Construction and Intervention  applications in MPD, Cementing Hardware, Casing Exit, Fishing & Re-Entry  and other identified applications that bring benefit to the enterprise, supporting the development of service quality and delivery systems,  processes and training initiatives  for WC&I product lines.
  • Lead the  development of  Product Line Global Service Quality Plans (SQP) to ensure quality planning, control, assurance and improvement, meeting or exceeding conformance to internal and external standards and regulations
  • Development and maintenance of product line Key Performance Indicators, evaluating effectiveness of operational activity and support service delivery teams with effective corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provides visible leadership with total ownership commitment to instilling operational discipline through developing and implementing product line reliability strategies and plans, supporting PW Geomarket locations and their customers.
  • Working closely with the global service delivery teams of PW, represent the global product line organization in the functions of incident investigations and corrective actions from product line non conformances, implementing recommendations to both product line service quality, training and competency programs. 
  • Participate in customer communication regarding service quality and learning and development performance review meetings, supporting incident reviews, corrective actions and best practices in product line operations.   
  • Collaborating with PW engineering and manufacturing teams, support the development of content needed to support new product development and sustaining engineering projects, from concept to commercialization in both operational and training needs for the product line technology.  

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities

  • 15+ years in Well Construction application experience, especially Tubular Running Services, with a proven and demonstrated understanding of other relevant enterprise and industry Well Construction applications.
  • 10+ years working in a global  supporting or leadership role in operational excellence and service quality disciplines.
  • Ability to coach quality enhancements in connection integrity and make up of premium threaded connections.
  • Experience in developing service quality plans to support technology transfer throughout the commercialization  process,  from concept to maturity and decline in the technology lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to Influence and communicate (interpersonal and presentation) at all levels of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • ± 50% Domestic and Global Travel.
  • Superior customer service orientation and relationship management
  • Global strategic planning and technical sales skills in Well Construction Services, with a focus on Semi Mechanized and Mechanized TRS Technologies.
  • Superior Emotional Intelligence (EQ) competency including interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Proven aptitude for effective decision-making and complex problem-solving, particularly for customers.
  • Certified Quality Professional (QP) with extensive experience in technical translation in Well Construction Technologies in Tubular Running Services.
  • High Scholl Diploma a must, college degree or technical schooling preferred and beneficial in the fields of petroleum or mechanical engineering.
