Job Description

Parker Wellbore in Norway is located in Tananger and Florø, at the former ITM AS.

The sales and marketing manager will be located in Tananger - Norway

Manage and is responsible for the company’s overall sales effort. Ensures consistent, profitable revenue through positive planning, effective sales strategies, and the deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives and develops action plans to insure sustainable revenue growth and profitability.

Essential Functions

  • Manages daily sales personnel activities and develops sales and sales support staff.
  • Establishes sales and marketing personnel who acknowledge and understand the market and our customer’s needs
  • Maintain and negotiate agreements and contracts
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of the sales staff's progress.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's product offerings.
  • Coordinates company resources to ensure efficient, sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Analyzes short and long-term effects on sales strategies and operating profit and modifies accordingly.
  • Develops sales team by establishing training and development programs in the areas of new account sales, growth, and profitability,
  • Develop sales strategy and implementation of the sales goals of the company.
  • Collaborates with the Managing Director to establish and control budgets for sales and marketing promotion, and trade show expenses.
  • Reviews expenses and controls selling costs.
  • Holds annual sales department planning and strategy conference.
  • Holds regular sales meetings with Managing Director
  • Actively supervise, manage, update, revise, and maintain the company's Market Intelligence Database and Sales Reporting functions.
  • Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop overall strategic business plans for the company.
  • Speak, write, and read English and Norwegian fluently
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
  • Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.
  • Responsible for the safety of self and others in the vicinity including, but not limited to, employees, vendors, and guests.
  • Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping, and take additional safety precautions to ensure no one is put at risk.
  • Do not take shortcuts or unnecessary risks and actively work with others to ensure they take due care and do not put themselves or others at risk.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.

The Sales Manager will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of sales, business development, and/or marketing experience.
