Job Description
This position is responsible for performing tasks and providing support to ensure efficiency in daily office operations, in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Essential functions
- Receives, sorts, and distributes post office mail to the office – conducts a morning mail run and afternoon mail run for internal and external mail.
- Configures conference room setups for various events/meetings as requested by meeting coordinators.
- Prepares domestic and international courier shipments with correct documentation; helps to resolve delivery issues when they occur.
- Operates mail equipment to apply postage to daily outgoing mail for the office.
- Keeps general office supplies inventory in stock; including distribution of paper to copy rooms.
- Guides outside vendors to area of service and collects paperwork once completed.
- Handles miscellaneous request – moving furniture, light handyman work, assist with jammed printers, etc.
- Interacts with staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Relieves the receptionist and operates the switchboard during breaks.
- Delivers and logs all incoming courier packages to office staff, using a dolly for heavier packages.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.

- High School Diploma is required.
- 3 years experience working as an Office Services clerk is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of international customs and brokers guidelines preferred.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers, and vendors.
- Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.

Physical demands and work environment
- Sit/stand while performing primarily sedentary work
- Use repetitive wrist, hand or finger movements at a computer.

- Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50 pounds and utilize lift support equipment.
