Job Description

Carry out fishing operations on offshore/onshore or rig/oil well locations

Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

o   Successfully perform cased hole, open hole fishing jobs awarded to ITS worldwide

o   Successfully perform deviation/casing exit jobs awarded to ITS

o   Undertake offshore/onshore related activities (Running motors, under reamer Borehole enlargement tools.)

o   Provide/generate detailed job reports and utilization sheets of fishing activities upon completion of every job

o   Take general and operational sales calls/enquiries and follow ups as well as assist the sales team in any sales related activities.

o   Impart training and knowledge to ITS fishing team and groups

o   Abide by the company systems and procedures(Legal & QHSE)

o   Any further duties as requested by the direct Manager/Supervisor

 

Experience:

o   Must have at least 10 years working experience.

o   Knowledge about all fishing tools(Operation Service and maintenance)

o   External catch, internal catch, remedial & repair tools, junk catching retrieving tools, milling &cutting including plug and abandonment fishing accessories, deviation tools(casing exit and open hole exit)tools, back off tools etc.

o   General knowledge of drilling exploration and completion (Up, Mid & Downstream of oil exploration activity)

o   Fishing Tool systems and procedures (Reporting, computer knowledge, pricing etc.)

o   Excellent exposure to QHSE/API plus DS1 systems and procedures

o   Medical Fitness

Qualifications

Education / Qualification:

o   Completed Senior High School Qualification is essential

o   Completed Engineering Qualification will be preferred

o   Good working knowledge of engineering principles.

Physical demands and work environment

  • Ability to walk on uneven ground (gravel, rocks, mounds, ice)
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and/or ramps while carrying tools requiring a reasonable degree of physical stamina and agility and involving moderate to severe physical exertion
