Job Description

Responsible for leading a variety of psychoeducational and activity group curriculum, along with other duties that provide support for clinical staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate a variety of gender-specific groups including, but not limited to, activity and psychoeducational
  2. Maintain accurate documentation of clients’ participation and progress while attending group sessions in the electronic medical record system
  3. Comply with MN Statute Chapter 245G requirements regarding timely paperwork and documentation
  4. Regularly meet with direct supervisor and attend regular team meetings
  5. Provide support and intervention in crisis situations
  6. Maintain professional interaction with clients, staff, interns and community partners while following a strict code of ethics
  7. Work alongside peers to offer and receive support when needed
  8. Maintain consistent communication with primary counselors and clinical supervisors regarding client progress and/or issues that may arise during group sessions

Qualifications

  1. Must demonstrate competence in working with clients with co-occurring disorders; through education, training and experience
  2. Knowledge of MN Statute Chapter 245G and licensing and its application to the department and company’s policy and procedures
  3. Ability to work in alignment with company values, goals, policies and procedures
  4. Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with co-workers
  5. Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English
  6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and electronic medical record system; or the ability to achieve proficiency after training

Additional Information

This is a part-time position.  Hours available include weekday mornings, afternoons, and weekend mornings
