Job Description
Responsible for leading a variety of psychoeducational and activity group curriculum, along with other duties that provide support for clinical staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a variety of gender-specific groups including, but not limited to, activity and psychoeducational
- Maintain accurate documentation of clients’ participation and progress while attending group sessions in the electronic medical record system
- Comply with MN Statute Chapter 245G requirements regarding timely paperwork and documentation
- Regularly meet with direct supervisor and attend regular team meetings
- Provide support and intervention in crisis situations
- Maintain professional interaction with clients, staff, interns and community partners while following a strict code of ethics
- Work alongside peers to offer and receive support when needed
- Maintain consistent communication with primary counselors and clinical supervisors regarding client progress and/or issues that may arise during group sessions
Qualifications
- Must demonstrate competence in working with clients with co-occurring disorders; through education, training and experience
- Knowledge of MN Statute Chapter 245G and licensing and its application to the department and company’s policy and procedures
- Ability to work in alignment with company values, goals, policies and procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with co-workers
- Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and electronic medical record system; or the ability to achieve proficiency after training
Additional Information
This is a part-time position. Hours available include weekday mornings, afternoons, and weekend mornings
