Job Description

 JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Admissions Director and influence of the Operations Supervisor, the Reception/Admissions Coordinator provides general customer service and clerical support.

 

II.        DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Answers incoming calls; transfer to appropriate staff, use paging system, answer general questions from callers.
  2. Schedule appointments using Excel/SharePoint based tracking system
  3. Complete light clerical work (i.e.) data entry, database searches, overall assistance in processing referrals as time allows using Procentive and MS Office software.
  4. Maintain positive, professional and ethical demeanor with clients and within the community remembering that you are the "face" of Park Avenue Center
  5. Perform other duties as assigned
  6. Provide Reception/Front Desk coverage at Administration and Programming Buildings as required which also includes:

a.   Answer incoming calls, transfer to appropriate staff, use paging system, answer general questions from callers.

b.   Greet clients and visitors

c.   Find appropriate staff member to address client needs

d.   Make coffee, maintain break area

 

Qualifications

III.             QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal skills and be capable of presenting a positive professional image.
  2. Must be able to maintain positive public relations with referring agencies and business community at large.
  3. Must be able to work efficiently in MS Office software, and be able to learn and work efficiently in Procentive EHR software.
  4. Must be available to work during Park Avenue Center’s business hours, including Saturday and/or Sunday mornings.
  5. Must be able to pass a background check as required by the MN Department of Human Services.
  6. At time of hire, must be free of problematic chemical use for at least one consecutive year prior immediately preceding hire and sign a statement attesting to this fact.

 

Additional Information

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position working Monday-Thursday from 7:00am-4:15pm and Sundays from 7am-12:30pm.
