Job Position  :  Sr.Java  Engineer
Job Location :  Sunnyvale, CA - Only Locals
Duration       :  1 Year Contract

Job Description:

Develop large scale customer facing web applications used by hundreds of
millions of users on Web (Desktop, Mobile). This is a hands-on role
requiring design and

development of complex software systems to support existing and new product
features. The individual will be doing product development in a fast paced
agile environment.
Responsibilities will include:
Design and develop large scale distributed applications
Design and develop highly scalable and reliable web application Design
Develop RESTFUL web services and expose to enterprise wide consumers
Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, internal infrastructure,
and process enhancements.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

Minimum of 8+ years experience in software development.

Strong object oriented programming and design skills

Experience with distributed systems and service oriented architectures

Knowledge of open source application servers like Tomcat or JBoss

Very good experience with Java (J2EE / J2SE) and related technologies:
Spring Framework, JUnit/Testing

Extensive experience in implementing Restful web services

Experience with different caching techniques: Memcached, Squid-cache

Experince with NoSQL databases: Cassandra, Riak, MongoDB, Couchbase

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns

Experience in building secure web applications

A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data
structures, algorithms, and software design
