What You’ll Actually Do

  • Lead the Evolution: You aren’t just "doing SEO" for us; you are here to make the entire business search-capable. You’ll lead the transition from traditional SEO to AI-assisted discovery (AEO/GEO).

  • Design the System: Instead of optimising pages in isolation, you’ll help us design a scalable search system, setting the standards and playbooks that ensure PaperCut remains discoverable and authoritative.

  • Be the Search Authority: Act as the central domain expert and change agent, partnering with Marketing, Product Marketing, Support, and Engineering.

  • Drive Experimentation: Stay ahead of the curve by leading tests across AI overviews, schema, structured data, and topic authority models to maintain our competitive advantage.

  • Enable the Team: Develop the training and toolkits that allow diverse contributors across the company to produce search-ready content without slowing them down.

  • Measure What Matters: Define success metrics that go beyond simple rankings, translating complex data into clear strategic recommendations.
