Are you an accounting professional looking for a new role? PaperCut Software is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This role would suit a first mover in to commerce, an accountant looking to return to work in a flexible role, or an accounting graduate with professional work experience.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a full-time hybrid role based in our Camberwell office 2-3 days per week.

Some of the things you'll do

• Manage the Accounts Payable and Collection Receipts including data integrity across the Financial Systems.
• Assist with the end of month accounting, and the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and collate the monthly reconciliations of allocated balance sheet accounts for review and approval.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert of our new automation platform SutiSoft, overseeing the transactional accounting process.
• Finalise the month end reporting for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

A little about you

• You have a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.
• You're experienced in all aspects of transactional accounting.
• You have a high level of attention to detail, and can work within a fast paced environment.
• You have experience in preparing month end reporting.
• You can work within a cross functional, global team, and have some flexibility in hours.
