Job Description
The Sourcing Curator leads the Artisan Enterprise (AE) Coordination and Sourcing component of the Panublix Weaving Enterprise Digital Enabler (PWEDE) program for a specific community while coordinating with other relevant team members and partners for other components. S/He manages the overall sourcing experience for both artisan enterprises and designers and will be reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
We are looking for Sourcing Curators located in:
- Miag-ao to coordinate with the Regional Yarn Production and Innovation Center (RYPIC)-Iloilo for the yarn production and with weavers based in Miag-ao
- lloilo to coordinate with hablon weavers and garment makers within the city and province
- Aklan to coordinate with pinya weavers and artisan enterprises who use natural dyes
- Isabela to coordinate with the weavers based in the province
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Supply Chain Management for Artisan Enterprises: Oversees supply chain within communities through building and nurturing partnerships with Artisan Enterprises and coordinates with Designers or Brands and fulfills their orders; Runs and presents progress reports to management;
- Onboarding and Training of Artisan Community Enterprises to Digital Platform: As part of the PWEDE program, Artisan Enterprises will be part of our digital sourcing platform. The Sourcing Curator ensures that community members receive proper onboarding, orientation, and education about their needed digital technology competencies; and
- Community Training and Development: Proactively maintains a Skills Inventory for the Artisan Enterprises to ensure that the community members are updated with required competencies for them to get updated with market trends. The Sourcing Curator partners with Impact Officers in delivering the necessary trainings that the community members will need.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of any Business Management, Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing bachelor's degree, more preferably on Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandizing, or Clothing Technology
Experience:
- 1-3 years experience in business, sales, communications, marketing, fashion or community development (fresh graduates with extra- or co-curricular experience in sales and/or marketing are welcome to apply)
- Knowledgeable or trainable on yarn production and weaves
- Being part of an Indigenous People community is a plus
- Having a background on weaving, forestry, garment making or community development is a plus

- Should be a fast learner and willing to be trained about Panublix products

- Uses basic digital tools and technology such as Google Business or Microsoft Office that are used for daily operations or transactions
