Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal AI Engineer to spearhead the technical vision, architecture, and development of our next-generation autonomous AI Agents. In this high-impact role, you will build goal-driven agents capable of complex reasoning, planning, and learning for our Customer Experience and Go-To-Market workflows. As a key technical leader, you will shape our company-wide agentic AI strategy and partner with cross-functional leaders to drive the future of AI at our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, and self-correction.
  • Define and govern the architectural blueprint for scalable, enterprise-grade AI/ML and agentic systems, ensuring alignment with our GenAI strategy.
  • Develop, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs), multimodal models, and specialized agent models for CX and GTM workflows.
  • Engineer advanced reasoning pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and knowledge graph integrations to empower autonomous task execution.
  • Drive the full solution lifecycle from prototype to production, ensuring scalability, reliability, safety, and high performance of all AI components.
  • Proactively collaborate with data engineering and domain experts to design high-quality datasets and continuous learning feedback loops, ensuring alignment on shared objectives.
  • Mentor and empower data scientists and engineers, establishing and championing best practices for AI/ML development across the organization.
  • Communicate complex technical decisions, trade-offs, and strategic recommendations to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree with 12 years of related experience, or PhD with 8 years of related experience, in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a similar technical field.
  • Deep expertise in building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems using LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
  • Significant hands-on experience building production systems involving ML models, LLM inference, fine-tuning, and multi-step reasoning.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one core programming language (Python, Go, or Java) and expert-level SQL skills.
  • Proven experience architecting large-scale distributed systems and microservice architectures on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building AI solutions for Customer Experience (CX) or Go-To-Market (GTM) functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-ambiguity, cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest SOTA model capabilities and their evolution (e.g., GPT, Anthropic, Llama models).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences at all levels.
