Diversity recruiting is as much about building trust and developing partnerships, both internally and externally, as it is about attracting, sourcing, assessing, and acquiring top talent. We’re seeking an experienced Sr. Diversity Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team and to provide focused search efforts into these talent pools while developing programs and policies to improve diversity across all our efforts.
You will be responsible for setting programmatic direction in partnership with Recruiting, Business leaders, Legal and our Inclusion & Diversity teams to establish scalable global best practices for the recruiting organization and providing data driven insights and recommendations to our partners. We will look to you to develop strategies to increase the volume of skilled applicants and hires from underrepresented backgrounds while partnering with functional recruiters to fill roles with diverse talent.
Your Impact
You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of diversity recruiters to bring your strategies to life while recruiting top diverse talent in progressing towards aspirational goals
This role will require someone who is willing to experiment and try new things - it is not enough to simply do what has already been done - new approaches and
ideas that tackle important topics related to belonging and inclusion, intersectionality, and privilege

Responsibilities
Design, launch and scale strategies, policies and programs that enable Palo Alto Networks to substantially increase hires from underrepresented groups in support of our business goals
Consider how inclusion, belonging, intersectionality, and privilege affect hiring processes and programs and work to identify means to decrease bias, improve objectivity, and ensure greater, more equitable outcomes for women and underrepresented minorities.
Shape strategies to incorporate how diversity may differ globally to ensure all locations have meaningful diversity aspirational goals and the policies and programs to attain them
Develop training, toolkits, best practices to equip our recruiting organization with tools and resources aimed at increasing underrepresented people in our pipelines
Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to build a robust pipeline of diverse candidates through sustained, long-term relationships with diverse talent and organizations that supply diverse talent.
Compile & analyze data and metrics to report on diversity outcomes in support of business plans
Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to our recruiters with respect to encouraging and developing expertise in diversity recruiting
Partner cross-functionally with PBPs, recruiters, I&D teams, legal and others to ensure diversity hiring strategies, policies, and programs and implemented
Your Experience Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of hands-on corporate experience recruiting diverse candidates
to meet aspirational hiring goals and developing diverse pipelines of
talent.
3+ years experience as a diversity recruiter/sourcer in building diverse
pipelines and attracting diverse talent
3+ years experience with diversity program development, project management, execution and performance monitoring with experience using metrics, data analysis, and reporting to drive program outcomes
Direct corporate experience educating leaders at all levels on the benefits of hiring diverse candidates into their teams.
Ability to partner and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives, to drive them towards particular hiring goals and program outcomes
Experience managing competing priorities, multiple projects simultaneously and/or projects involving cross-functional/team alignment
Ability to take direction while working independently and collaboratively;
Must be a creative thinker with the ability to come up with new solutions
to old problems including leveraging data-driven research to drive
effective diversity hiring outcomes
Self starter with exceptional attention to detail with time management,
multitasking and communications skills; ability to keep key stakeholders
and contributors aligned and coordinated
Must be a team player with the ability to work cross functionally within a
corporate environment.
Qualifications
Your Experience
Minimum Requirements:

Spanish language proficiency is a plus

Preferred qualifications:
10+ years of overall HR experience, including substantial responsibility for and ownership of Equity, Inclusion, & Diversity programs
Proven experience articulating a vision, translating it into executable strategy and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against a strategic plan
Leadership acumen and experience working with senior stakeholders, including excellent communication skills and the ability to influence up and across.
Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to drive and execute ideas in a rapidly-changing environment
Client-service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service; demonstrated interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills
Strong understanding of inclusion and diversity research, from both the behavioral science perspective as well the study of impact in applied application of I&D solutions in hiring
Strong communication skills to articulately share a vision, communicate a plan, sell an idea, influence and align action, or respond to often sensitive or emotional inquiries with elegance and grace.
Experience or expertise designing interactive learning experiences and coaching leaders and teams on issues of inclusion and performance
