Job Description

Focus: WORKSHOP: Link between (local) operations and (global) engineering. Support for production.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production Support: Guide prototype build

  • Responsible to analyse and solve issues in the workshop: develop practical solutions, considering rules and regulations, customer requirements, costs, lead times

  • Technical evaluation of engineering deliveries: Bill-of-Materials, assembly drawings  

  • As-built information; report and archive differences to assembly drawings

  • Capability to analyse and improve operational processes

  • Quality Assurance, maintain Palfinger “Lifetime Excellence”

  • Incoming inspections, intermediate inspections, End-of-Line inspections of (sub)assemblies, considering material properties and proper workmanship

  • Internal and external supplier audits

  • Report and archive quality inspection protocols

  • (Coordinate) calibration of workshop tooling

Qualifications

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBO Technical Education, for example: Maritieme Techniek, Operationele Techniek, Werktuigbouw, Autotechniek

  • 5 years’ experience in technical/ production environment

  • Fluent Dutch and proficient English

  • Experience with MS Office: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint

  • Experience with AutoCAD/ AutoDesk

  • Experience with 3D modelling software in general

  • Read and interpret technical drawings
