We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in funded projects, both at the national and European levels, to support their technical, economic, administrative implementation of projects. The person will be also responsible for fundraising through national and international R&D programs (mainly Horizon Europe, Eurostars, FSTPs, CDTi, Spanish Ministry and Acció).  The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects and contributing to the organisation's mission of PAL Robotics and the implementation of the R&D strategy and roadmap. 

Primary duties

• Coordinate and supervise the proper progress of the project and collaborate in reviewing and submitting reports (deliverables).
• Collaborating in the financial assessment of ongoing projects
• Contributing to the redaction of new grant proposals, mainly non-technical sections.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship maintenance with partners, consortium members, and relevant contacts
• Individuating new financing opportunities for R&D activities.
• Contributing to the Preparation of business and exploitation plans and IPR agreements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in managing EU-funded and national research projects, including H2020, Horizon Europe, Eurostars, CDTi.
• Knowledge of EU regulations, reporting requirements, and financial management for projects.
• Applicants need to have a European work permit.
• Proficient in written English and Spanish. 
• Availability to travel.

Desired skills/experiences 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in fields related to PAL Robotics´ activity is considered an asset.
• Other languages such as French and Italian are a plus.
• Project Management experience and certifications are a plus.
• Scientific experience or an engineering degree is a huge plus.
• Soft skills: communication, leadership, motivation, initiative, autonomy, flexibility, team player.
