Job Description

We are looking for a Robot Quality Assurance and Validation technician to ensure all our robots meet company requirements such as high quality and high standards. You will have to manage, inspect, calibrate, test, repair and, if necessary, modify the instrumentation, mechanics and procedures used to manufacture our products.

Primary duties

  • Test and validate final robots and prototypes for the customer to meet precise quality standards for both functionalities and components. 
  • Ensure the quality and precision standards for each functionality and component for each individual robot.
  • Implement minor adjustments or assembly modifications as needed.
  • Keep installation procedures and robot validation documentation current and advocate for innovative tools and process enhancements to streamline validation timelines.
  • Conduct a thorough review of the robot's final revision and meticulously package all materials before dispatching to customers.
  • Offer both remote and on-site servicing support to customers, including robot validation, installation, reconfiguration, ongoing monitoring, issue diagnosis, and maintenance and repair interventions.
  • Actively propose new tools and process improvements to expedite validation processes.
  • Submit daily reports detailing completed tasks and ongoing work, ensuring transparency and accountability in project progress.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • “Grado superior” in Networked Computer Systems Administration, Automation Industrial Robotics, Web developer or any related field.
  • 1 year of professional experience (internships are also accepted as experience).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (basic use of terminal).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Willingness to improve both software and hardware skills.
  • At least medium level English and Spanish speaking and writing skills. (All the internal documentation is in English).
  • Valid EU work permit.

Required skills:

  • Proactive team working attitude.
  • Be able to work with multiple priorities in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. 
  • Motivated, autonomous and flexible.

Desired skills/experiences :

  • Basic knowledge of sensors and electric motors.
  • Previous experiences in robot applications.
  • Experience in programming (Bash, Python, C++, and ROS).
  • Experience with revision control systems (git).
  • Projects with Arduino, raspberry pi or similar.
  • Knowledge of other Languages.
