PAL Robotics is a robotics company developing humanoid service robots. Our goal is to develop humanoids that can perform useful tasks in the real world. We are a young and multidisciplinary team of highly motivated engineers, that have successfully developed several prototypes and products.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and with a positive attitude for the EU and Collaborative projects department and who will help us to manage our International project activities. The candidate will be responsible for international R&D programs (mainly Horizon Europe) and will work in close contact with R&D managers to provide financial support aligned with the R&D strategy.

The company is located in Barcelona, Spain.

Start date: Q1 2021

The compensation package will be evaluated according to the relevant experience of the candidate between 22.000€ and 28.000€.

We also offer 26 labor days of holidays per year.

Required skills

• Applicant needs to have a European work permit.

• Proficient in written English. Native English is an asset.

• Proven finances and administration experience.

• Availability to travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse EU funding programs (H2020) and other national and international funding opportunities (CDTI, Eurostars, etc).

• Draft project proposals in which PAL Robotics acts as coordinator or partner within the prescribed deadline. Lead the proposal preparation, working in collaboration with our researchers. Prepare Impact and Implementation sections of proposals and take care of financial, administrative and consortium management.

• Participate in events, seminars, workshops and info-days to develop network activities and identify potential projects/partners of interest.

• Analyzing and validating the feasibility of innovative projects together with the technical department

• Preparing business and exploitation plans for the projects

• Supervise the proper progress of the project and collaborate in reviewing and submitting reports (deliverables)

• Project progress monitoring

• Preparation and processing of technical and financial reports

• Acting as the center of communication between internal and external stakeholders for the projects

• Ensuring proper filing of the project documentation

• Ensuring proper handling of the project contacts database

Desired skills and experience

• Experience in preparing EU R&D proposals: Eurostars, FP7, H2020, etc.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in fields related to PAL Robotics´ activity is considered an asset.

• Soft skills: communication, leadership, motivation, initiative, autonomy, flexibility, team player.
