Pahamify is an EdTech company based in Bogor, Indonesia. Our aim is to help the youth in Indonesia discover the authentic joy in learning by blending technology, filmmaking, and game design.

As Data Engineer, you will tackle data pipeline design from ingestion, streaming across infrastructure, performing data aggregation, data warehousing and visualization with scale, high availability, and automation in mind.

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and operate resilient data ingestion, data aggregation, data streaming, and data warehousing until delivered to data visualization dashboard
• Collaborate with various functional teams to analyze and resolve software development problems

We're looking for:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 1 year minimum industrial working experiences
• Excellent Computer Science fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, software design and development methodologies
• Excellent time management skill and a focus on execution
• Passion to solve complex problems and make continuous improvements
• Familiar with Cloud Technology especially Aws or Google Cloud
• Excellent knowledge and experience on data processing platform along with complementary stacks
• Excellent collaborative spirit, eager to learn, help out, and share knowledge with the team

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Agile development methodology and CI/CD
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka/RabbitMq, or Bigquery/Redshift
• Experience with Infrastructure Orchestration Such as Vagrant, Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with Data Visualization Tool Such as Metabase, Datastudio, etc
