About this opportunity

As our Office Manager & Events Coordinator, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the Richmond Head Office for employees and external visitors. You will also provide administrative support to key corporate functions, including Legal, People & Culture, Marketing, the CFO and Board-related activities.

12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Pact Group | Richmond, Melbourne

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation and presentation of the Richmond Head Office
  • Coordinating workplace events, including birthday celebrations, social occasions and the annual Christmas party
  • Supporting vendor setup, invoicing and payments to service providers
  • Managing office service contracts, associated budgets and supplier relationships
  • Coordinating building maintenance and ensuring issues are reported and resolved
  • Maintaining workplace security protocols and reporting any breaches appropriately
  • Managing office supplies, beverages, snacks and cleaning materials
  • Coordinating the use of onsite car parking for customers and team members
  • Supporting office users and visitors to ensure the workplace remains clean, professional and well maintained
  • Providing administrative support to the Legal, People & Culture and Marketing teams, as well as the CFO and Board activities

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in office management, administration, workplace coordination or a similar role
  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to issues
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence negotiating with suppliers and resolving workplace matters
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to continuous improvement
  • A current driver’s licence

  • A relevant administration qualification
