About this opportunity

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day execution of maintenance activities to ensure plant reliability, safety, and operational performance. This role translates maintenance strategy into site-level execution, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, equipment availability, and indirectly leading a team of technicians and machine owners.

Available Shift: Day - 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance schedules and work orders are completed and managed through MEX.
  • Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and operational performance.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and lead root cause analysis for equipment issues.
  • Manage maintenance technicians, contractors, and daily work priorities.
  • Ensure spare parts availability, inventory accuracy, and 5S standards.
  • Maintain maintenance records, asset data, and compliance requirements.
  • Coach and develop technicians, machine owners, and operators.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with maintenance systems, with MEX experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability, and asset management principles.
  • Experience using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Why or A3.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Diploma/Degree qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic discipline.
