About this opportunity

Work as part of the operational team to ensure the efficient running of the Industrial Products and Packaging warehouse in our Albany site.

You will need to have a good knowledge of warehouse and distribution with a clear understanding of inventory accuracy. You will also need a strong focus on teamwork and health and safety especially with regard to operating forklifts.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Accurate control of stock in the Warehouse.
  • Match between physical stock & SAP
  • Accurate pick of raw materials, delivery to manufacturing, return to stock of excess.
  • Safe use of forklifts, ensuring no product damage
  • Ensure all vendor pallets are return to suppliers

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment
  • Extensive experience driving a forklift, including loading and unloading trucks
  • Valid forklift license
  • Experience in inwards / outwards goods and general distribution processes
  • Demonstration of understanding and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience with MRP system/preferably SAP
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Requirements

Essential:

  • High school

Desirable

  • Formal qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, procurement, warehousing or relevant
