Job Description

  1. Organization and Purpose
    • Provides an interface with the guest at the Snack Shop.
  2. Essential Functions
    • Rings in sales correctly in the register and balances register at end of shift.
    • Maintains clean area in and around Snack Shop area.
    • Takes inventory on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

  1. Job Requirements
      • Education/Experience Required
      • - Requires previous sales or customer service experience.

      - Requires previous cashiering experience.
    • Technical Skills Required
      - Must be able to operate point-of-sale system to ring in sales/orders.
      - Solid knowledge of math and the ability to accurately make change from cash transactions.
      - Ability to process credit card transactions
      - Ability to balance transactions at the end of each shift.
    • Interpersonal Skills
      - Maintains a favorable working relationship with all co-workers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate to help keep high morale and productivity.
      - Self-starter, self-motivated, adaptable, able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment.
      - Dresses according to dress code requirements - neat, clean and professional at all times.
    • Language Skills
      Must be able to communicate effectively and verbally with co-workers and manager.
  2. Physical Demands/Work Environment
    • Requires the ability to safely lift and maneuver food and other items up to 50 lbs.
    • Requires some bending, stretching and pulling in the course and scope of the work.
