Job Description
The Carrier Services Representative is responsible for managing the carrier setup, maintenance and assigning process in TMS. This role serves as a key liaison between carriers and internal operations teams to support successful load execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage carrier setup, onboarding, and maintenance within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Verify carrier compliance including insurance, safety ratings, contracts, and regulatory documentation.
- Serve as liaison between carriers and internal operations teams to support successful load execution.
- Proactively identify and resolve service issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in TMS and internal systems while ensuring adherence to company policies and FMCSA regulations.

- Fast-paced, deadline-driven logistics environment

- Frequent phone and email communication with carriers and internal teams

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and carrier compliance requirements preferred
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Additional Information
Pay/Benefits/Perks
- $22/hr
- Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
