Job Description

In this role, your goal will be to ensure that physicians and hospitals receive on time and accurate payments for their participation in the global clinical research programs. You will perform various calculations, work with payment databases and be the focal point for PSI global teams of experts and hospitals worldwide in regards to payments coordination. You will contribute to everything from payments administration to the development and enhancement of payment strategies that make a difference.

This position is home-based in Brazil.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a communication line for project teams regarding the assigned GEM activities.
  • Assists in the development of country IG budgets.
  • Assists in site-specific IG budget reviews.
  • Assists with set-up and maintains payment module in Grants Management application in accordance with the executed site-specific IG budgets and clinical trial agreements (CTAs).
  • Conducts study-specific trainings related to payments to PSI project teams.
  • Sends notifications to Accounts Receivable team for invoicing PSI clients.
  • Calculates regular site payments and processes incoming invoices raised by the sites.
  • Develops standard and ad hoc reports based on PSI clients’ requests.
  • Performs IG reconciliation at the study end or upon the request from the (Senior) Manager GEM.
  • Escalates issues affecting site payments activities to the (Senior) Manager GEM and Project Manager.
  • Coordinates the internal payments process to ensure proper payment flow within the projects.

Qualifications

  • University degree. Economic background is a plus. 
  • Experience working with big amounts of finance data.
  • Work experience in an international setting.
  • Previous experience working with clinical trials.
  • Good problem solving abilities, flexibility in responding to business needs.
  • Experience of working with large datasets.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Team oriented with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including a positive attitude to tasks and projects.
  • Proficient user of standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
