Responsibilities: 

This position provides analytical support to a project or department. Under the guidance of a team leader, responsible for collecting and researching data, performing analysis, providing recommendations and presenting results.

• Provide leadership for projects with a small scope.
  
• Gain experience and build skills through on the job learning and guidance received from Business Analyst II
• Serve as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manage changes to such specifications, and educate the IT organization on the direction of the business.
• Provide leadership to the project team for basic to moderately complex projects with small scopes.
• Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-entity, enterprise-wide initiatives that will encompass an end to end analysis
• Responsible for all communication, requirements gathering and documentation of assigned projects.
• Develop root cause analysis and business case for proposed solutions and process improvements
• Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements
• Align projects to management strategy
• Produce new process improvement techniques and services
• Develop metrics that provide data for process management indicators for future improvement opportunities.
• Create, develop and maintain project timeline for key deliverables by developing project plan, monitoring milestone completion and coordinating project progress

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or equivalent relevant work experience in business analysis, systems analysis and/or testing
• 3-5 yrs of work experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or testing.
