Job Description

The role of a Project Coordinator can vary greatly depending on the organization, but they are typically responsible for any large project, such as a marketing initiative or the development of a new product, being pursued by a company.

This role is within the IT group so IT background or experience may be an asset but not required.

Qualifications

Skills:

Project coordinators must be well-organized, capable of working under pressure, and able to multitask, and attention to detail and a patient demeanor are also important.

They should also be familiar with software such as Microsoft Excel, and a bachelor's degree in business or communications is generally required for this position.

Work is usually done in an office environment, though some travel may occasionally be required.

MS Project is a must have!
