Join us in growing trees for future generations forests

With your help, PRT has grown over 4 BILLION forest seedlings and we are only looking to add to that number with more help from you! We are currently recruiting seasonal Forest Nursery Crew Leader to assist with our upcoming harvest of tree seedlings for reforestation across North America.

This engaging, high paced, physical position offers a safe work environment and an opportunity for a career that will make a positive change in the world.

What a position with PRT offers:

o    Our PRT nurseries are vibrant and fun communities with employees who share a strong passion for the “green” nature of our business and doing their part in regenerating the forests of North America

o    We provide a supportive team structured environment, a strong safety culture, and a commitment to the environment

o    Paid training provided at $16.50 hour

o    Flexible work shifts starting 7am – 3:30pm to start, then 8am – 4:30pm for harvest

o    Work is available now to February with an opportunity to join other projects for ongoing career paths, development and personal enrichment

What you need for a position with PRT:

·         Able to translate complex instructions to Spanish-speaking crew and vice versa.  Must be fluent in Spanish and English.

·         Supervisory experience preferred with demonstrated leadership ability

·         Must be a US citizen or able to work legally in the US.

·         Must be able to work outside during inclement weather, lift 50 pounds, and perform repetitive movements.

·         Energetic and pays attention to detail

·         Positive attitude and a team player

·         Work is meticulous and physically demanding; ability to stand for lengthy periods of time, walking, repetitive lifting, (light to medium weight objects), and performing repetitive movements

·         Appropriate clothing required; Indoor and outdoor work, must be able to work in varying weather conditions

·         Reliable transportation is essential
