    In this role, you will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager supporting PROCON’s HR functions with a focus on benefits, compliance, and HRIS. You will also assist with payroll and training programs.

    • Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans
    • Review benefits with employees and process enrollment, cancellation or changes.
    • Organize and manage annual enrollments, communications and election process
    • Verify benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment
    • Administers all leave management (FMLA, LTD, STD, etc..)
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
    • Own the HRIS function maintaining and updating the system
    • Multi department reporting responsibilities
    • Manages and tracks all trainings and certifications
    • Responsible for new hire orientation and onboarding
    • Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs
    • Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in HR, ideally at least 1 year in a Generalist role
    • SHRM Certified Professional, PHR Certification and/or HR Degree is a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
    • Strong benefits administration experience
    • Experience working in a 200+ person organization in the construction and/or manufacturing industry is ideal but not required
    • Must have strong compliance experience (FMLA, ADA, ACA, etc..)
    • Must have worked with HRIS systems. Knowledge of Ascentis is desired but not required
    • Knowledge of HH2 card systems is desired
    • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, payroll processing; Sage 300 CRE is preferred
    • Must be a collaborative, team player
