In contrast our robust ProfiHub has, over the last decade, established itself as the go-to solution for ensuring a reliable network infrastructure. The combination of these products within our ComBricks solution has seen PROCENTEC become the primary manufacturer of network components with the integrated capability for remote monitoring and remote asset-management.

Our training facility, the PROCENTEC Academy, has certified over 4000 engineers to implement and maintain their PROFIBUS and PROFINET networks to the highest standards available.

The PROCENTEC Competence Centre has established itself as the leading consultancy on PROFIBUS and PROFINET projects worldwide, advising on architecture, engineering, training and commissioning. Once a network is commissioned, we have experts available 24/7,  to answer questions with maintenance or help troubleshooting a problem.

Job Description

Join our happy crew of talents and make some amazing (and difficult to explain) products

Would you like to design architecture and develop software for a company that makes some of the most recognised solutions in its market, including cool stuff like cybersecurity? How about working alongside an international and diverse bunch of techies who will help you learn and grow? Read on, friend.

About you and the job

Let’s be clear. We’re not looking for the perfect junior software developer (we don’t believe in unicorns, although we’re pretty convinced that UFOs exist). What we need is a Junior Software Developer who wants to learn their craft. Someone who’s not afraid to ask for direct feedback or to have their coding reviewed.

Qualifications

Sure, we want you to have some relevant experience, so you should be fluent in at least one language and it would be great if you already know about C++11, MySQL and Javascript, or want to learn them fast. We’d also be happy if you’re familiar with Linux, build automation and software architecture. Plus, you need to be able to communicate well in English as we’re a global business.

But you won’t be working alone in a dark corner with just your computer for companionship. You’ll be an essential member of our SCRUM team, collaborating on unique solutions for the industrial automated industry and solving our customers network reliability and security problems.

You’d be great for this position if, in addition to the geeky essentials, you:

  • can stay on top of your work, keep focused on your goals, and work with precision;
  • will learn our systems inside out to become an independent team member;
  • can stay on course despite those inevitable setbacks, distractions and bugs;
  • are curious about why things aren’t working so you can fix or improve them;

A commitment to learning and fitting in is much more important to us than your qualifications!

Additional Information

What will you get from us in return for all this awesomeness? First-hand experience with products that improve and safeguard vital industrial network communication systems; mentoring and a clear path to progression; and an innovative and client focused CTO (he forced us to put that last bit in). You’ll also get:

  • investment in your ongoing education, including professional certification;
  • great work life balance by working remote as well as in the office with your awesome colleagues;
  • a workspace in Delft, with on its doorstep the lively historic center and the train station.

Of course, we’re not all work and no play because that would make us incredibly boring. So, when we’re not creating unique and easy-to-use solutions for all kinds of vital industries, you can find us supporting our local pub on Friday nights, putting on summer BBQs, and taking part in the annual Rotterdam Marathon.

Participation in extra-curricular activities is always voluntary but enjoying your job (most of the time) is compulsory at Procentec!
