The talent we are seeking are individuals who are motivated for delivering on the promise of Industry 4.0/IIOT to industries that maybe considered late adaptors. You should be motivated to bring these new concepts and ideas to older systems, mixed protocol architectures, and push the limits pasts what originally considered for these systems. You will have the opportunity to work with experts in factory and process networks. This includes working with direct market feedback, to deliver on the promise we make to our stakeholders. Our process is in a modified Agile method, applied via our tools such as ARM hardware, Linux Centos, C++, and Angular. We have internal processes centered around mentorship, access to regular feedback, and quick deliverables. We work in small teams with roadmaps developed with making sure individuals have space to place their mark on what we do. We aim to support the innovators, the goal oriented, and those looking to make differences in industrial applications. 

At the moment, our development team is seeking a Frontend Developer.

As our frontend developer you will help us plan, deliver, and simplify how our clients visualize PROCENTEC solutions. We seek those who are willing to come to our department every day, with a focus on assisting the team meeting our goals. We believe leadership doesn’t only come from a title, rather from innovative ideas, quality of work, and focus on what the client will have most value for. In the case of what the client sees, it needs show clarity of complex information, generated from our solutions. If you have an Agile mindset, inquisitive mind, respect for our roadmap, willing to propose new ideas (backed by an example or data), and willing to seek the best path, not only your desired path, you are the right fit.

Tasks

·        The development and expansion of our web-based front-end through HTML5, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS, Angular 7, Node.js and websockets;

·        Testing the delivered work through Unit testing, Jasmine and Protractor.

·        Ensuring good usability of web applications and good user interaction;

·        Collaboration with other disciplines within your team, including testing, integration with the back end and continuous integration;

·        Active contribution to the development of our scrum team.

·        Ability to create sketchs of the desired concepts.

·        Ability to develop best practice standards for current and future designs (Optional)

·        Bachelor level

·        At least 6 years of relevant work experience in the field of web development;

·        Sees opportunities in new techniques and confidently drive to improve the process and product. 

·        Ability to create a slick UI through CSS and HTML to ensure a user-friendly and intuitive experience;

·        Up to date with the latest web technologies (AngularJS, Bootstrap, etc.);

·        Familiar with a test-driven development and continuous integration environment;

·        Bachelor in Science in Computer Science, Communication & Multimedia design or Industrial Design;

·        Excellent communication skills in Dutch and/or English;

·        Experience with Linux as an operating system,  the development of back end applications and

scrum are an advantage.
