Job Description

PRISM Co. is looking for a qualified E-Commerce Sales Intern to assist in managing various stages of the sales cycle by using CRM platforms, generating new leads, creating awareness of new offerings, and tracking product inventory. As a Sales Intern, you will assist in business development efforts by driving sales, increasing visibility to our product offerings online, and getting our products in the hands of millions of impact-driven, socially-conscious women. You will have the opportunity to work with marketing, finance, and product teams to coordinate flawless product launches on our website and discover new online marketplaces.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Managing and creating short, attention-grabbing email newsletters for our target audience

  • Assist with E-Commerce photoshoots, lookbooks and editorial content on website and platform

  • Meet sales quotas by becoming the sales point of contact and brand ambassador that is passionate about getting our products in the hands of our target demographic

  • Manage communications with vendors, events, and sales opportunities from all stages of the sales cycle

  • Email and establish partnerships with online ethical goods marketplaces 

  • Manage inventory and audit master list of PRISM products online

  • Help run grassroots guerilla sales and digital marketing campaigns to reach online communities and individual customers 

  • Develop an effective sales pipeline and sales playbook to increase our sales by 25% and increase customer acquisition

  • Go on customer discovery calls to research, discover, and develop customer profiles to assist our Marketing team better understand our segments

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a 4-year program, majoring in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or Business (or a relevant field of study)

  • Customer-obsessed, passionate about impact and women’s empowerment, as well as the sustainable fashion and accessories space

  • Passionate about learning about e-commerce, sustainability, and lifestyle brands a plus! 

  • Enthusiastic, personable, and thrives under pressure, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Additional Information

**Please note that this internship is offered as a partnership with the Bixel Exchange Tech Talent Pipeline’s Subsidized Internship Program. Bixel Exchange Tech Talent Pipeline’s Subsidized Internship Program places youth who live in the County of Los Angeles, are between the ages 18-24, and considered low income in internships with the companies we’ve partnered with. The internship is a total of 120 hours where 20 hours are for training from the County/City of Los Angeles on financial literacy and 100 hours are to work directly with the company. All positions are paid $15/hour. Youth can only participate in the program once each funding cycle (June-May), but have the option to participate again the following cycle. Currently, almost all the positions are remote, unless otherwise stated.

Process:
Once you interview with the company and are notified that you are selected, you will be connected to an American Job Center of California (AJCC) or a Youth Source Center (YSC) to fill out the required paperwork and bring proof of the following documents to the center: 1. Photo ID 2. Social Security Card 3. Proof of Address in County of LA.
