Job Description
Key Job Duties
- Receive trucks and unload and receive merchandise.
- Record amounts of materials or items received.
- Stack merchandise on racks, shelves, or bins.
- Sort and store material according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Stock warehouse with tools.
- Ensure machinery is serviced and functional.
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute as required
- Move materials from racks, bins, and or shelves and package for shipment.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
- Follow all safety codes.
- Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.
- Perform facilities maintenance. Keep the work environment free from clutter and safe.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
- Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
- Compile inventory balances and price lists.
- Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse.
- File all requisitions in accordance with the company’s standard
- Assist with counting physical inventory.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 year experience working in a warehouse. Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
Additional Information
Must have authorization to work in the Bahamas.
