Support Worker for Bingham, Nottinghamshire
Full Time (38 hours per week) and Part Time (hours tbc) available
£17,280 per annum - £8.72 per hour

The Person
Successful applicants will be:
• Enthusiastic and willing to support others to try new things
• Committed to empowering people to enhance their independence
• A car driver and willing to drive vehicles for work purposes is preferred but not essential
• Flexible to work a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, wakeful nights, sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays.
The Role
Community support role for a male tenant in the Bingham area. Tenant prefers to receive support from staff who can support him with pursuing interests such as DJing, looking after animals and visiting historic houses. The ideal staff member will be tolerant, resilient and a creative quick thinker – this tenant will be demanding of them at times. They should also be able to use humour and clear confident communication to resolve difficult situations. Working in a team of 15, candidates will be provided with comprehensive specialist training and ongoing support from Perthyn and local professionals. A driving licence would be a distinct advantage but not essential for all applicants.
