Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

The candidate have to support Input and output management system based on WINDOWS, payment systems based on Linux/UNIX/JBOSS.

1. Strong Linux experience including shell scripting for administration tasks.

2. Experience in monitoring any software application, document and analyze problems, and publish maintenance schedule.

3. Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments

4. Troubleshoot, and resolve any reported problems.

5. Daily monitoring and maintenance activities.

6. Strong experience on failover, high availability, disaster recovery, business continuance.

7. Good knowledge and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues due to firewall, load balancer, proxy, and others.

8. Knowledge on Windows administration.

9. Understands software and hardware requirements of varied departmental systems.

10. Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems.

11. Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications.

12. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

13. Knowledge in writing scripts for DB2 and MS/SQL databases.

14. Experience in JBoss is Plus

15. Develop work plans and track/report status of assigned projects/tasks.

16. Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools.

17. Display and execute logical and complex troubleshooting methods.
