PA. Bringing Ingenuity to Life
Job Description
Service Delivery Lead, Health Data Platforms
The PA Health Data Platforms team is looking for an experienced Service Delivery Lead to play a core part of the software development, maintenance and delivery process. By applying ingenuity to the building of data platforms for the clinical and biopharmaceutical community, PA aspires to change the course of care across the medical spectrum.
The team develops and maintains complex cloud-based systems to store and deliver sensitive clinical data to physicians, regulators, and scientists. You will oversee the delivery of cloud software and services through the lens of customer value. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, with experience in the roles of Scrum Master, Product Owner, and possibly Business Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Delivery Management: Own the delivery of software using Agile methodologies. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions following both project plans and customer needs.
- Product Backlog Ownership: In partnership with our technical and clinical subject matter experts, manage and prioritize the product backlog during both the build and operations phases. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the backlog aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Agile Leadership: Act as a Scrum Master and Product Owner, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including pipeline/data engineers; full-stack cloud engineers; software test automation/QA engineers; and business analysts, to ensure successful delivery of projects. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide regular updates, and escalate prudently—with a keen eye for identifying issues at their earliest stages.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Implement best practices and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
- Risk Management: Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues and ensure project success.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with health data platforms or similar domains is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
