Job Description
The PA Health Data Platforms team is looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Clinical Data Specialist to join our growing team. This role is instrumental to our delivery of software data services by analyzing and processing clinical data for ingestion into our platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with clinical data from Electronic Health Records (EHRs), other clinical and Claims systems of various sizes and specialties and be well-versed in the primary standards for clinical data capture and interchange.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Data Management: Drive the ingestion, processing, and analysis of clinical data from diverse EHR systems. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant standards. Review test clinical data feeds for adherence to standards and guidelines
- Customer Support: Collaborate with the Customer Success team to provide exceptional support to clients. Address client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementation and utilization of our software services.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that clinical data management processes adhere to industry standards, including LOINC, FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, and other relevant frameworks. Stay updated on changes and advancements in these standards.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular data quality checks and validation to maintain high standards of data accuracy and reliability. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes, client interactions, and issue resolutions. Generate reports and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration and operation of our software services.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with clinical data from EHRs, both large and small.
- Familiarity with primary standards for clinical data capture, such as LOINC, FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, and others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

In compliance with Colorado’s, New York & Massachusetts's Equal Pay Transparency Act, PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the State of Massachusetts and is commensurate with experience, market data, applicant skills, internal equity and/or degrees/certifications. Salary Range: Low: $ 80,000 - High: $110,000
