As a Principal Consultant within our Energy & Utilities practice, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy transition, infrastructure and telecom sector for our clients. Your expertise will help guide key strategic decisions, lead transformational projects, and build long-lasting relationships with top-tier clients in the energy sector. You will be responsible for driving business development, delivering complex consulting engagements, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage client engagements across the energy, infrastructure and telecom sector, ensuring delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions 

• Develop and implement strategies that drive transformation in the energy and utilities industries, focusing on areas such as decarbonization, digitalization, and sustainability 

• Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and go-to expert for clients’ strategic challenges 

• Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, identifying new opportunities and driving business development efforts 

• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development 

• Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure PA Consulting remains a leader in energy and utilities consulting 

• Actively contribute to thought leadership, publishing insights, whitepapers, and participating in speaking opportunities 

• Collaborate with global teams across PA Consulting’s network to bring innovative solutions to clients. 

• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in consulting, with a focus on the energy & utilities, infrastructure or telecom sector, including experience in leadership roles 

• In-depth knowledge of energy transition, sustainability, infrastructure, renewable energy, and digital transformation 

• Strong track record of delivering large-scale projects that drive measurable impact for clients 

• Excellent business development skills, with the ability to identify, cultivate, and convert new business opportunities 

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and managing teams to success 

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-makers 

• Fluent with reading and writing Swedish and proficiency in English
