Our Major Programme Services (MPS) team is looking for an exceptional Project Support Coordinator.
As part of PA’s Delivery stream, PA’s Centre of Excellence for all project, programme, and portfolio capability, MPS works across Defence, major projects & infrastructure, transport, energy and utilities and the public sector in client-facing roles on long-term assignments. Having experienced repeated successes in delivering value and excellence for our clients, most of whom are within daily commuting range from home, we are in high demand and are now expanding further across the UK.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, shaping projects and programmes that drive meaningful impact.
Location
Flexible working - we operate in a hybrid working environment, where there is limited requirement to attend your base office and travel is driven by client needs. Client locations include:
- London
- Bristol
- Swindon
- Cheltenham
You will have opportunity to:
- Provide administrative support to programme leadership within major programme teams including:
- Preparation of presentations
- Compilations of Reports and programme communication materials
- Diary management and meeting bookings
- Note, action and minute taking and management of tasks
- Cost and expenses management
- Milestone and deliverables tracking
- General programme administrative and coordination tasks
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Organise and manage project files, ensuring easy access for team members, both internally and for client projects
- Collaborate with business development teams to prepare internal bids for new projects.
- Assist in compiling proposal documents, ensuring compliance with submission requirements.
- Liaison with client PMO and project delivery staff
- Coordination and liaison with supplier programme/project staff
- Manage programme internal communication and liaise with marketing team for external communications and events.
Qualifications
- Sole British nationality is a must, as this role will involve working with secure clients. Ideally you will possess a track record of working with secure clients.
- Experience in coordination, administration, or similar roles.
- Enthusiastic, able to work well with others, and wanting to be a part of a driven team
- Recognised Level 5 qualification and working towards recognised qualification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems, make informed decisions and maintain a systematic and organised approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling successful collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
