Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our rapidly growing team working on the development of the next generation of our products! 

You will be instrumental in developing our testing strategy for our existing and future products and systems. You will be undertaking exploratory testing on our products and services to ensure we retain our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities 

  • Building test plans, documents and systems. 

  • Exploring the testing space for our products and software. 

  • Maintaining Quality Assurance throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring our delivered products maintain their high standard. 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in testing an embedded Linux product in a Linux testing environment. 

  • Good understanding of networking hardware and security i.e. understands protocol stacks, TCP/IP, UDP, firewalls, switches, DHCP, etc. 

  • Python scripting and testing. 

  • Experience working with Linux systems. 

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. 

  • Proven record implementing and managing test infrastructure for secure, embedded products. 

  • Able to work closely in an Agile environment with other software and hardware engineers to understand, develop and advocate for testing requirements. 

  • A passion for exploratory testing and a good knowledge of automated frameworks for systems-level testing and reporting on test results.
